Samantha N. Burk D.V.M 

Dr. Samantha Burk is originally from Acton, CA.  She graduated from Ross University in 2016 and completed a yearlong Equine Internship at a hospital in southern California.  In her spare time she enjoys riding her horse, hiking, spending time with her family and pets.  She is a member of the AVMA and AAEP.
  

Robert L. Branch D.V.M.

Dr. Bob Branch, originally from Yreka, CA. now lives in Blue Lake. He graduated from U.C. Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Dr. Branch specializes in the health and treatment of horses and livestock. With his strong rural background, he has a full understanding of the challenges our area faces. He is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, AAEP, CCA and BCHA. He actively supports 4-H & FFA as well as many other local horse and cattle events. Dr. Bob enjoys reading, playing cards, riding his horses, snow skiing and water sports.

Robert L. Just D.V.M 

Dr. Robert Just was born and raised in Yuba City, CA where his parents still reside. He attended the University of California Davis where he graduated with a BS in plant genetics. From there he attended veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, graduating with a food animal focus. Dr. Just became a veterinarian because of his love for animals and the outdoors. His professional interests are in small farm production medicine. He enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, sailing and farming with his wife Dr. Hendrix.

​​Bruce C. Carlisle D.V.M.

Dr. Bruce Carlisle was raised near Petaluma, CA. and currently resides with his wife in Fortuna. He graduated from U.C. Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. He practiced in Humboldt County for 11 years before becoming a partner at NCVH in 1994. Dr. Carlisle is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, AAEP, and BCHA and particularly enjoys investigating equine lameness issues. In his free time he takes pleasure in hunting, abalone diving, canoeing, riding his mules and packing into backcountry wilderness areas.

Robbia A. Hendrix D.V.M 

Dr. Robbia Hendrix is originally from Mesa, Arizona and dual majored in biochemistry and dance at Arizona State University. She received her DVM from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee where she received the Equine Medicine and Surgery Award. She recently completed an equine internship at Reata Equine in Tucson, Arizona. When she’s not “vetting” she spends her time staying active with her husband Dr. Just, running and hiking, country swing dancing, and barrel racing on her mare Easy. She is excited to join North Coast Veterinary Hospital and work with such a great team! She feels there is no better job than using veterinary medicine to strengthen the bond between horse and owner; a continually humbling experience​.
